When it comes to the value of your home, curb appeal is one of the most important factors. If you plan on putting your house on the market, the overall appearance of your home from the street is very important to potential buyers. It’s their first impression of your home and could affect whether they put in an offer or not. Not to mention, a beautiful exterior home and yard is certainly appreciated by all neighbors and people who walk by. Here are some tips on how to boost your curb appeal!

1. Update Siding – This fix could be as simple as a fresh coat of paint. Or perhaps your siding is in poor condition and needs to be completely replaced instead. To give your home a fresh pop, you might want to consider adding some stone work while replacing the siding.
2. Outdoor Accents – Adding a front porch to your home is guaranteed to add to your curb appeal, along with adding resale value to your home. This addition gives you more opportunity to freshen up your space by adding columns and sprucing up your mailbox. Adding proper lighting will even make your home stand out for nightly curb appeal.

This is another project that can be fixed with a fresh coat of paint. However, if they are in poor condition and aren’t operating properly, a full replacement is advised.
